Ok ya all, lets have those Pyton moments!!
I started watching young, Ok mostly because there was some nudity involved, lol.
Conrad Phoos and his dancing teeth gave me nightmares!
But I love them and can pretty much quote eerything ever said by them, gosh, I need to get a life! The life of Brian you say...? lol.

Did they not coin the word 'Spam'? That subsequentialy got a new meaning?

My fave has allways been the Funny Walk skit.
They were very good at funny walking.

I was at the dentist the other day and one of his machines made a ping noise. So I asked his tech if that's the machine that goes PING and she laughed - obviously caught the reference to the Meaning of Life.

We have the complete DVD set of the series, and for father's day this year, got a 3 movie trilogy: Holy Grail, Life of Brian and Meaning of Life. I also have 2 Python computer games: The Quest for the Holy Grail (it's fun to kill the black night, but I haven't figured out how to kill the rabbit, even with the Holy Hand Grenade), and A Complete Waste of Time.

My coworkers get a Python earful from me, particularly anyone named "Tim" ("my name is......Tim"), and "Bruce" ("Australia!!! Australia!!!" with a fist against my temple). And heavy forbid if anyone talks about cutting down trees.

You forgot the fish slap dance:

And The Cheese Shop (not much of a cheese shop is it?):

And how many times do we try to Confuse a Cat?

I could go on.....

I loved this one:

Loved this part too!

"Run away! Run away!"

"Wot's he do? Nibble yoh bum?"

The whole movie of "The Holy Grail" is posted in parts. It's well worth the time to view it!

This one gets a little graphic, but in a "Tron" sort of way. (anyone remember that movie, lol)
The Universe Song
ETA; The graphic stuff starts when the green lines show up. Turn away, hide the children, run from the neighbors if you are offended by female body parts.

Not only did they not invent the word spam, they came along 50 years after it was invented.

They ARE given credit for its application to the internet, however.

Monty Python was on when I was too young to appreciate the humour. My brother watched it but back then I thought it was stupid and not funny. However, as I got older I started to tune in once in a while when it was in reruns. This was the sketch that got me hooked on the show and the movies!!

I wasn't a fan until I married DH. He loved them and so being subjected to them on a fairly regular basis, they grew on me. Now I'm as big a fan as hubby and our daughter can pretty much recite every skit. One of hubby's and Jen's favourites is the Australian wine skit. And of course the Cheese Shop is another favourite.
