Thanks, do I want to know what happened?
The vets have called, they drained 250ml of fluid from her chest yesterday. To me that seems so much to accumulate in 4 days :-(
She's much more comfortable now, and the vet said she's feisty. That's my girl, even when she's fighting this she's still got spirit. They are running tests on the fluid, as this time it was more bloody, so might not be chyle.

I'll keep you all posted.

I just wish I could help her more. I know she's at a really good hospital now, and they are doing all they can for her.

I just miss her so much and wish she was all better and home. This is having such a massive impact on my life at the moment, and I feel selfish for even saying that, when my poor girl is going through so much

Get well soon my little fur baby, we all miss you so much.

Roxy is missing you, and everyone is worried and thinking of you

of yourself. Don't feel guilty about how you feel. It is a reflection of your love for Villy. It is apparent Villy couldn't have a more devoted mom. God Bless you both.

Thanks everyone. I'm just waiting to hear back from the vets atm re the results of what the fluid is.
Roxy has been brilliant through all this. I've been giving her lots of cuddles, and talking to her. I've explained what's going on.
Last night when I went upstairs and got into bed, Roxy climbed into her little basket (which is actually a cat carrier), so she went to bed at the same time as me :-) She's so cute, normally she's still busy mooching about downstairs at that time.
I hope she knows she's helping heaps.

Morning everyone,
Villy is in surgery right now.
The fluid that they drained away was mostly blood this time, itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s different to before. Something has changed.
They are going into her chest this morning, and it all depends on what they find. If itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s something they can remove then they will, if itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s something thatâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s going to cause her further problems, then they wonâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t wake her up.

I went to visit her last night, and spent half an hour just talking to her, stroking her and giving her kisses.

I love you my angel, come home to us quickly, we all miss you.

They've removed most of the mass of inflamatory tissue from in front of her heart, that's what was bleeding.
There were a couple of other areas which they've biopsied and removed.
She's on the ward now, recovering.
My girl's a fighter.

Come on Villy, we all need you home!

Jessy, I'm just catching up on this thread. I can't imagine what you and your furbaby have been going through.
It sounds like good news that they were able to remove the mass and wake her up.
that she heals quickly and can come home soon.

Thank God they were able to wake her up, because i felt sick at the thought of her not coming through it
You must have been on another planet wondering and waiting

Healthy that they find nothing else

Thanks Susan.
It was so emotional seeing her last night, not knowing if it would be for the last time.
And I can't even begin to describe the feeling when I woke up this morning and remembered what was about to happen.
I'm still waiting to hear from the vets. I'll keep you all posted.

This sounds a lot like HCM ( http://dsl.org/hcm/ ). Please check it out. I have a two year old Himalayan with a grade 3 heart murmur. He goes in for an ultrasound on the 14th so I can start him on medication for his heart. Fluid accumlation in the lungs, caughing, poor appetite, fatigue, are all symptoms.

Best of luck! Please KUP.
Take care
