I vacuum every three days but there is still cat hair in the carpet. A LOT! Does my vacuum cleaner suck or does anybody and everybody have this problem?

um... it is summer time and I guess it is that time of the year when cats shred their hair. Do you brush your kitty daily? If not, do so and it might reduce the amount of hair left on the carpet.

It's kind of labor-intensive, but there's a tool you can get at the pet store that looks like a squeegee, that scrapes all the hair up into a pile so you can pick it up if your vacuum doesn't remove it. I don't know if it would work on a shag carpet, but it works great on our low carpet, and on the furniture.

Apparantly the Dyson Animal is great for picking up animal hair, hence the mane. It comes in an upright and cylinder but they are very expensive around 280 pounds sterling I'm not sure what that converts to but my friend (the rich one) say it is just great.
