I am always looking for the perfect food for my cats. Of course a lot of us do not get to choose due to price, availability, and those picky pants cats we have. So if you could choose the top 3 best and most nutritious food for your cats....what would it be? (Assuming we all win the lottery, food is delivered to our door for free, and our cats, all of the sudden, just eat what is on their plate
)

My top 3 dry:
1. Wellness Core
2. EVO
3. Taste of the Wild

Canned:
1. EVO 95%
2. Wellness Core
3. EVO

Assuming also that my girls were allergy free and I didn't have a CRF cat, I'd go with your choices as well.

Food formulas change, as do our kitties.

I wish that there was one perfect food...
life would be so much easier but as we know, food choices can become complicated.
I have a young adult with digestive issues and a senior boy who loves his kibbles.

Maybe someday there will be a perfect food...
but not yet.

If I had good typing manners I would have said that

I wish there was a perfect food, too. Not so, though. Fortunately neither of my cats have allergies that I'm currently aware of. *crosses fingers*
As it is, though, my favorite brands are EVO and TOTW. The kitties are crazy about both of them.
My cats LOVE Natural Balance wet but with the recalls and the relatively low meat content and high pea and potato junk I'm not really comfortable feeding it.

For dry my favorite are
1-Orijen cat or Orijen 6 fish (I feed 6-fish as Bugsy is allergic to chicken),
2- Acana Grasslands (again because of Bugsy)
3- Wellness Core

Wets: Really what my cat will eat, and Bugsy is not allergic to:
Tiki Cat, NB Venison and Pea, Mulligan's Stew...

I don't think there is one perfect food out there, but IMO Orijen is as close as I will get to it

Hmm..assuming that I could get them to eat it and I got it for free...
Dry
1. TOTW
2. CORE
3. EVO
4. Wellness adult

Wet
1. EVO 95% meat (I feed this and they will sometimes eat it)
2. By nature 95% meat (similar to EVO)
3. Wellness grain free line
4. Authority lamb and rice (good price and no fish)
