I am making a list, thought it would be fun to see others list.
We have a meat market for fish and another source for eggs and Asian market for bulk rice and other items. We have a small garden with a few herbs and tomatoes/peppers, but need to expand it, then we could really get our bill down. I wonder if it would be too late to get any value from one. Anyway
Here is my latest list.
Bread making ingredients
Sesame Oil
Tofu
Bok Choy
Brocolli
Squash
Cherries
Watermelon or Pineapple or another type of melon, whatever is on sale
Lettuce
Spinach
Avocado
Tomato
Apples
Bananas
Grapefruit
Red onion
Cottage Cheese
Lemon
Lime
Small block Cream Cheese
Black Beans
Small red and purple potatoes
Green onion
Frozen Cherries

My standard grocery list looks something like this:

veggies for salads
fruit
veggies
bread
cheese
tortilla chips
diet coke
mountain dew
(and whatever meat is low in the freezer)

I shop for fresh things based on what looks good that week, not for specific items. I buy meat in family packs when its on sale and freeze it. I buy canned goods in bulk from Costco, so that is a separate list based on what I'm running low on. So my list is the regular stuff with sometimes something odd thrown in.

I knew your list would be good, you always eat so healthy.

Although I dont use a list, I do buy similar to what you get, but I add in some not-so-healthy things, too.

I get a lot of fruit varieties, cereal, oatmeal, rice, my bread list is ridiculous: pita bread, french bread, cuban bread, italian bread, croissants, etc. (not all at the same time) yogurt, cheeses, wine, lots of salad ingredients, nuts and seeds, PEAS, tortilla chips, salsa .... the list goes on.

I get dry goods in bulk at Costco.

Do many of you often find your list is almost the same week after week? It gets boring.

OJ
milk
eggs
cheese slice
1/2 1/2
snack bars
oatmeal
H2O - work
ketchup - work
Laughing cow
apples
bananas
shrooms
broccoli
yogurt
almonds
COFFEE
Fab softener
PMS snack
razors
eye drops

I usually try to hold off on too much fresh produce until I know what I am cooking. I'm not good at planning way ahead. I do eat a banana everyday and apples last awhile so I get those regardless. I hate when stuff goes bad; I'd rather go the store more often instead.

Wow, big lists!! (except for you, lawguy... such a bachelor!
)

I actually love grocery stores for some reason, so I tend to pick up maybe 2-6 things a few times a week at different ones. I'm always looking for a reason to go to a grocery store, and I especially like to splurge a bit at Whole Foods once in a while.

Always picking up Tofurky deli slices, bread and 2-buck chuck wine (and beer if i think of it) at Trader Joes cos it's cheap; veggies and soda and deli ham for BF and etc. usually at Ralphs/Vons/Albertsons...

Today I need to get some things but don't feel like going to TJs so I'm going to hit the Ralphs between work and home for:
bread(s)
soda
various veggies
granola bars
a can or 2 of soup for lazy days

I hesitate to get all that today, then I might not have to go back for SEVERAL DAYS!! Whatever shall i do?
