The weather here has been completely weird this summer. June was cooler and dryer than usual, and if it did rain it just got really windy and everything dried out right away. And then it was cloudy and dreary looking a lot of the time. So far this month has been the same way.
We did get some rain late yesterday and this morning and so of course, they are predicting a windy day for tomorrow.

And as far as temperature goes, they predicted a high of 78 for today, but when I checked a while ago, it was still only 62. Tomorrow (Thurs) along with the wind they are predicting a high of 85...and they say maybe.... it depends on the cloud cover.

This is supposed to be our warmest month! I don't want extreme heat and humidity or anything like that, but I do want a normal summer, espcially since winters here are so long and cold.

I'm starting to feel cheated!!!!

I know how you feel - Im in Edmonton Alberta, and this week we are looking forward to the day that it will supposedly reach 20C (68F)...Todays high is 16C (which is only 61F), tomorrow the same....we had no rain at all until this week (pretty much raining on and off since Sunday), so for farmers etc. the rain is good news, but we have not had a nice summer this far no matter how you look at it. We did have a couple 25/26 days (77-79F)....hopefully next week will improve, and Im keeping my fingers crossed for August!

Ontario hasn't been that great either. As far as summer goes I think we have had a total of maybe 5 really hot days since May, a few sunny and warm days but mostly rainy and cool. I have actually had to turn the heat up a few mornings in the last 3 weeks just to warm the house up and get rid of the dampness.
Summer sure has been a bust so far.....

It has been an unusually cool summer, but my electric bill is nice! For the month of may I think it was $28 for gas & electric. Normally I've got my air conditioner in by early may, this year it was the end of June before I figured I'd better get it in. I think we had 1 week of summer temperatures, other than that it's been like spring. Frankly I'd like it to be this temp year round!

I live in NJ so I am getting the same weather you have. I would rather have the cooler weather since I hate the summer. Yes June was a wash-out and so far July is ok. I can't wait for summer to be over, I really hate the heat and I know it's right around the corner. I have had my a/c on many times already, once it hits 80 on goes the a/c.

When I posted this on Wednesday our high for the day was 66, but in the Twin Cities which isn't all that far away the high was something like 76. Totally weird. The temps are better now though.

Rang_27 I have to agree with you, temps in the upper 70's and lower 80's all year would be fantastic!!!!

It's been well over triple digits here for the past 3 weeks. It's not fun.

So thanks, but no thanks!!!! LOL!
Yeah I'm with you! THATS TOO HOT.
I always say I'd rather hear the words "Wind Chill Factor" than "Heat Index".

Hear, hear! It's been so nice here this past week (70s), after having a couple of weeks in the high 80s with 70% to 91% humidity. Unfortunately, it's supposed to be in the 90s next week.
