I'm getting ready to write thank you notes for a party we recently had. It was a very non-traditional "baby shower" in that my son was a month old at the time. Any way... because he is already here and everyone got to meet him I want to put some cute little "signature" on the cards from him. Any ideas? My first thought was his finger print but I'm not so sure he'll cooperate with that.

Do you know what you would use to do it? A Sharpie? jk

I'm sure that you could get a stamp of a baby foot at a craft store if your son won't cooperate

How many cards?

You could probally do the finger print idea (I used non-toxic paint).... when he's feeding or even sleeping, start stamping cards

Have you thought of a picture sticker. Most office supply stores carry blank stickers and labels. Grab a pack or two and print them with a small picture of him with his name or initials. Most printers have a set up to do this or you can probably have it done at someplace like staples if you have a photo of him.

I would do one foot and/or handprint with non-toxic paint, then scan it into the computer and just print it onto the cards, this way your little guy won't get too stressed, and u'll stay cleaner!

In my thank you cards I sent a picture of Jaiden out. I didn't have a shower, but I got tons of gifts from people after he was born. I just picked a picture that I really liked of him and went to Target and made a few sheets of wallets. It is not exactly what you are looking for, but just an idea

That's a great idea!!! It can be the hand on the front and the foot on the back... It would be super cute!

I did the same thing. I didn't like the hospital photo so I took one of my own and had prints made.

I like the hand print idea though.

My husband suggested the same thing using the foot print they take at the hospital. I also like the handprint on front and foot on back but may save that for a 1st birthday or something else... I also LOVE the idea of having them made into stickers. I'd probably put them everywhere!

That's exactly what I've decided to do. He has a smile to melt the arctic so I'm signing all of them "Smiles, Noah" and putting a wallet size of the pic below into each card. I'm also writing them from his perspective expressing how much he's enjoying all the gifts.

I sure hope not... of course, DH and I got into our fair share of trouble as kids.

Oh my what a cutie!!
They bear is like 2x his size!!!
I wrote them from Jaiden's perspective also. I just didn't mention it because I didn't want to sound crazy.
My lay out when something like this

Dear Blah Blah Blah
Thank you for the _______ I really enjoy (something that has to do with it) (If it was clothes I put Mommy says I look cute when I wear it) I hope we get to play together soon!
Love,
Jaiden (Oh Mommy and Daddy also)

Thanks everyone. We think he's pretty cute too... which benefits him when he's crying hysterically.

The bear was an idea a friend gave me. To kind of track his growth, we're going to take his picture with the same bear every month.

Your format is almost exactly what I'm writing too. I ordered enough wallets for the notes last night... I also ordered a necklace with the same picture (cropped) on a charm that if water & UV proof so I can keep him close to my heart when I go back to work.
