I managed to catch Archie doing his business - oh, man. Really soft and had blood in it!
Poor boy!
So I took a sample to the vet and should know tomorrow - hopefully - what I am dealing with.
If it is a microbial parasite ... wish me luck. I have six foster cats and they are in and out of each other's litter boxes. So I fear everyone will have to be treated. Even if it isn't G or C - and is roundworms or something, everyone is going to get dewormer as a precaution. Even poor little Ghost! Now he has been largely isolated from the other cats due to his extreme shyness... but a couple of times when I opened the door to the bathroom - the others have zoomed in there and headed right for Ghost's litter box!
Sigh.......
