Yep, I was off last week to study & my cats were "helping" me too. Their other favorite thing is to "help" when I make the bed.

Geez, you just don't appreciate your paperweight.

Why Rascal not only helps me with the writing, but he helps me turn the pages over too. Not only that, he lets me know when I've written quite enough thank you!

And when I've been on the computer too long, Samson will come over, stretch his legs and paws up onto my knee, look at me for a bit, then if I don't respond to his satisfaction, he will tap...tap...tap me on the knee until I log off!

OMG this is so true. Moose will let me make the bed over him; he lays under the fitted sheet for a few minutes, then inches his way out to the edge. Lucy sometimes comes running and slides on the top sheet. Rocky couldn't care less.

If I'm on the pc too long Moose sits right in front the screen: "Look at me Mom!"

These two do the same thing when I change the sheets.

One thing Everest is good at is being a paper weight.

My cats do this, too! How come they never come over and climb into my lap for snuggles or onto my book when I am reading a novel for pleasure? It is ALWAYS when I am reading a textbook or studying for a class. What gives?

I gave up making the bed. I don't have to study anymore, but reading in bed is out.

Molly LOVES to be my paperweight! She loves to help me read and sit on any book I'm reading and it's almost like she knows when I reach the best part.
