Ok did a search and got most questions answered.
My kittys have fleas i already gave them a dawn bath and plan on putting some de on the carpets. I found out i can get advantage from the vet but my kittys have to be 12 weeks old so could i buy1 dose and put a drop on each kitty without hurting them?

I used Advantage on Bonnie when she was just 7-8 weeks old, no problems, just be sure it's the "under 9 pounds" kind for cats.

You can certainly get a tube and split it between the kitties. A couple of drops for each kitty should be enough. Good luck!

That's also a good age to get them used to a human picking their fleas out by hand. A flea comb can help with this, or if they're a color where you can see the fleas you can also literally catch them under your fingernails and pick them out and squish them or drop them into something they'll die in. This can work even with a black cat because fleas are actually dark brown. You can also do a comb-through or pick-through on a cat and keep track of how many fleas you kill to monitor whether a more conventional treatment is working--numbers going down is good, up is bad.
