Morning All!!!

Today's question will follow yesterday's theme about our furry friends.

It is a two-parter and it deals with feline personalities.

What type of personality does you cat have and if you have multiple cats are their personalities similar.

My three all have very different personalities. Sassy is very calm and laid-back almost to the point of being stoic sometimes. Linus is the brat, the joker, the easiest way to describe Linus is as a 3 year old child, one minute bubbly and laughing the next in the middle of a tantrum. Pixie is a bit peculiar in that she is friendly, loves attention, and playing but she still has a certain reserve about her as if she is still not quite sure of what she is suppose to do.
Her previous owner abused her pretty badly and she is just starting to think maybe humans are okay.

My cats have different personalies although my three breeding girls have very similar personalities.

Elmo is very demanding, loving and loves to spend lots of time with humans.

Sophie enjoys human time but is more then happy to hang out on her own (and away from the dog!)

My three girl cats live together and Flutterby is very much the boss of them, she's my eldest breeding cat and she's very sweet, quite a full on personality. Tales is very similar, quite bossy too.

Fluffy's probably the most different, she's a very much on "her terms" cat. She enjoys sleeping and being a princess
and she really doesn't care about anything but sleeping

hhhmmmmmm. Interesting question.

Kizzy: he is soooo relaxed. Doesn't mind being pet (doesn't care if you don't), but prefers to sit close to you rather than on you, unless its on his terms. He has his hyper spurts, talks alot and loves to play on his own terms. He has no fear (aside from the vaccum). If I had to say it in one sentenance it would be: He is a relaxed explorer type who doesn't like to sit still long unless he's sleeping.

Kitchi: TOTAL lovebug. He talks, and talks and talks. If you walk by him and there's something he can jump on to be closer to you, he will. He'll jump on you, grab your legs, etc. Anything to say PET ME, Give me scritches, LOVE me. But he doesn't really like to be picked up, unless you pick him up and immediately start rubbing his neck. He prefers you to lay on the floor with him and smother him with hand lovin's.

Part of that is due to his experiences in his short lil life, and because he is a 15wk old kitten. BUT, I really hope he doesn't lose the lovingness.

My girls have different personalities.

Darcy is the adventurer. She doesn't like to be petted too much, just early in the mornings mostly. She is also kitten-like sometimes with her playfulness. She will spend up to 30min stalking and chasing her tail.

Marcie is kind of a bully. She will try to push Darcy aside and steal her food if I am not looking. She also likes to sneak up on Darcy and jump on her head. Marcie is a love bug though. She looooves to curl up in my arms and look up at me and drool.

Good question

Sophia is loving when she wants, it's not often though, she's picky about her food and she's not always around the other cats, she's more aloof, she loves strangers, go figure. She really hasn't been the same since we lost
Bella

Severino is a Love bug
He loves everybody and everybody loves him, he's extremely laid back, but when he's hungry he's in my face on the nightstand and in the garbage, anything to get Momma out of bed
He loves to go in the shower
He loves to be combed.

Joey is my adventurer, he is an inddor/outdoor guy, you would think he would be tough but he's a Momma's boy and he hugs me tight around the neck
He constantly spars with Pepino
He loves to be combed too.

Lucia, is a wide eyed, where are my treats kind of cat
She still has a baby cry of a kitten
She likes affection on her terms, absolutely hates to be combed

Mario is a love bug too, he's just a little out there in space
He's so laid back and he just goes limp when you pick him up. He loves to rub your leg with his paw and say PET ME!

Pepino is my wild man, he's a cuddly little guy, but only with me, since he was a baby he has slept in my neck and still does, he is very jealous of anyone else getting my attention. He runs around here wild most of the time, chasing all the others and fighting with Joey, he's like a Kung Fu cat, loves to kick others with his back leg! He knocks stuff off counters, I have found the phone in the garbage, and my make up brushes in there too
All in all he CRACKS me up!

All 3 of mine are very different.

Luke is laid back for the most part. He's the most "cat like" one I've got. He'd much rather sit beside you than on you, looks at you with disdain if you try to interrupt him from whatever he's doing (usually sleeping,
), and will only come to you if he wants something (ie:food!). Of course he does have his moments when he wants snuggles or runs around like a kitten.

Harvey is like the cute guy in highschool that everybody had a crush on, even though he wasn't the smartest crayon in the box. He's full of personality. He'll snuggle with anybody who sits still (as long as it was his idea), is constantly talking, and gets himself into loads of trouble.

Danny is my wild child. He'll run around like a mad man for no particular reason, will tear up anything resembling paper, and wants to play with everything and anything. He purrs if you just look at him. You can pick him up no matter what he's doing and he'll stay with you for as long as you let him. He has perfected the "What? I didn't do it. I'm so cute!" look.
