As far as formula goes, I like by Nature better, as it is a simpler formula... This brand was not very popular in here though... Kitties didn't like it.
Now, I rather do canned than pouches - it is said that a lot more chemicals are needed to preserve moist/pouch foods than canned... I would only feed it as a treat.
Is there a reason for the pouch and not canned?

My cats don't like pate style food-only chunks and shredded bits. My picky cats!

There are plenty of canned in chunks though... Weruva, Nature's Variety, Tiki Cat, Sheba, Fancy Feast...
Good Luck on your search!

ONE pouches HAVE NO more chemicals than NON pouch( .. The sealing process is at times ??able but it is also with cans as its affect on the lining

the NC had wheat gluten which is a common allergen and glycine which can affect blood sugar

the Starch in by Nature is POTATO at last emailing them ... it too can cause issues with blood sugars

I would try both and see which the cat likes better

I am right there with you. Halo will eat pate but prefer the gravy/shredded kind. I find lots of gravy/chunk though. Phoebe, newly adopted adult goes for gravy like there is no tomorrow.....she only had dry before joining our family. I am watching your threads since we seem to have the same "problem". I did buy some Nutro pouches today, they were on sale........if only there were more affordable/quality shreeded meat with gravy.
