Hi everyone, my name's Karen and I'm from Ireland. I have 4 cats. I took in a stray over 2 years ago now, found out she was pregnant, she had the kittens in my home and I couldn't part with them! She has since sadly passed away.
I have her 3 kittens, and 2 years ago took another cat in whose owner was elderly and had to go into a nursing home.

This is Jasmine, the mother of the kittens:

The eldest of the kittens, my gorgeous Belle, who is a boy despite the name. The vet sexed him at a week old and told me he was female so I named him, found out different when he was 8 weeks old but couldn't see him as anything other than Belle

This is my chunkymonkey Meeko:

And the baby of the bunch, Daisyduck:

Our new addition, Tigger:

Some other pics of all of them:
They do have beds each, but like to share

The 3 little ones at 8 weeks old:

Sorry this is so pic heavy. I look forward to participating in the forum, and thanks very much to GoldenKitty45 for recommending it to me

What beautiful kittens,Karenjett! I think my personal favorite is Tigger. I`m partial to the lighter/striped (tabby?) colors on cats. I`m curious.Do kittens get jealous of the others like dogs do? I`m new to cats and only have the one.

Hi Hosman and thank you. I think they're beautiful too
If you think Tigger looks good you ought to see his temperament. He's THE most loving and good-natured cat I've ever seen, just an all-round brilliant puss.

In my experience my cats don't get jealous of each other, or if they do I haven't seen any outward signs. Belle recently spent 3 days in the vets and when he came home both Meeko and Daisy hissed and growled at him, which shocked me to the core cos I've never seen them like that! I took a soft dry cloth and rubbed it round all their faces to mix the scents, Meeko came around straight away, Daisy took a bit longer but they're all friends again now. Tigger came in as a total newcomer and they were all great with him, Daisy especially sticks to him like glue, they sleep together and groom each other - cute as buttons.

There are lots of things you can do to help introduce new cats to existing ones, should you want to get another

Lol you like guiness? I like the head of it but not too keen on the black bit

Thank you, Pam. Easy is beautiful, is she a Norwegian Forest Cat?

I do have a question, do you have to have a certain number of posts to have an avatar? I can't see a section for that in my control panel

Welcome - love all your kitties - especially Tigger - nice classic Red Tabby. Reds are one of my fav colors.

You'll have to get busy in answering posts to build up your numbers so you can do a lot of things. Some things you have to have minimum # of posts, but not sure what.
