three cats two differant issues

one cat - a male (tramp) has started pee-ing everywhere. the worst place is on the stove so if we use our large burner it now has the most awful smell. even after replacing the burner pans. another male, stow, has started doing it - we caught him pee-ing in the bathroom sink in our room last night. its the first time that we know of that stow has done it.
now for moma cat - grey- her babies are five weeks old, she still nurses and toliets them, and she poops EVERYWHERE and its no where near solid. its not that she can't get to the box in time, just that she doesn't want to, and they are all kept clean and one is electric so it auto cleans.

any ideas on what is causing the behavior?

Yes, they're probably sick. Loose stools is definitely something wrong. And if the males are neutered, then they may have urinary tract or bladder infections. If they are not neutered, the kittens may have triggered "territory" marking, and they need to be neutered.

They should ALL see a vet ASAP. The males should be neutered.

The main reason for urinating outside the litterbox, especially the surface like the sink, is a health problem. He needs to be seen by a vet. This could be life threatening.

The mom cat needs a vet too. She is sick and this could cause problems for her AND her kittens. Cats do not decide whether they want to go to the litterbox or not. It is there natural instinct to go in a sandy material ( litter ) and to cover it up. Not making it to the box is because she is sick with runny stools.

They need to be seen by your vet right away. Hoping the vet can help before the kittens are affected too.

If the kittens are 5 weeks old, they should be using a litterbox......do you have a shallow pan with non-clumping litter for them? If the mother is still cleaning up after them (by eating the feces), that could be making her sick. They're too old for that. They should be started on some solid food, too, to take a bit of of the nursing burden off of momcat.

If the boys aren't neutered, that's why they're peeing everywhere. That's what tomcats do. Neutering should help. If they're already neutered, it could be that they feel there are too many cats in the house and are protesting. Once the babies go to new homes (not before 10 weeks, please), the situation should improve if that's the problem.

But all the cats should be vet checked, because sudden litterbox issues are usually health related.
