Mocha had to be put down yesterday, after testing positive for feline leukimia along with various other diseases. I only had him for a short time, he was my first "rescue cat". I am so glad he got loved for the last month and a half of his life. I'll never forget how he would sound like a dog when he was drinking water or how he could inhale cans of food in just a few seconds.
He didn't ever have a really good life, so i am so glad he was able to be cared for and loved for the little time that he could be. He was rescued from a farm and was so skinny and sick. I feel like he was meant to be mine, he was supposed to be shot a few days before i ever saw him, but then the weather improved and they had to get grass in and forgot about little Mocha. I am so glad that he got taken away from them in time, and he loved being able to have all you can eat food all the time. I don't know how old he was, at least over a year. He wasn't skinny any more for sure though, wieghing in at 4 pounds more than he was when i got him.
I'll always love you Mocha
