Well, I have a new addition to the family and in my search for info I came across this site.

I just took in a 3 week old kitten from a woman whose cat had a litter and rejected just the one. She said she took him to a vet and got the all clear for health and has been hand feeding him, but it is too much for her. I don't know much else about the mother cat, but the little guy seems to be healthy.

I already have a spoiled fat cat named Mollie that I adopted from a shelter almost 6 years ago. (I also have 2 over indulged Boxers and 4 rambunctious kids in the mix!!
)

Any info on which threads I should check out about the new little guy (no name quite yet) would be great.

Thanks all!!

Amanda

Hi and welcome! Most of us found this site when looking for specific info on a problem - in my case how to get motor oil off a cat I found. There is a wealth of good stuff here and some wonderful people. In your case I would start with the 'Pregnant Cats and kitten care' forum, but Cat Health, Nutrition and Behaviour will also help you, I am sure. You can search using keywords for any special topics you want to look up. And do post some pix of your cats in 'Fur Pictures', and your other pets and even kids in 'Cats and other Animals'. Good luck.

Hi Amanda and furfamily,

TheCatSite has several forums that will be of use to you but I think that Pregnant Cats and Kitten Care, linked below, would be the best place for you to start a thread asking for help with your 3 week old kitten.

I raised my lil' guy . Let me know if you have any questions . It is exhausting having to get up every few hours for feedings especially if you are working full time.

Welcome!
