Roo's had this little pink mark on his upper lip for about a week now. It doesn't seem to bother him - he's not licking it a lot or anything, he still eats and drinks plenty and acts normally. So it hasn't been a huge concern. Darrell said we could take him to the vet if it gets worse. Well, now it seems to be getting worse. But it still doesn't seem to be bothering him. Just so that I'm prepared... What do y'all think it is??

Wonder if he was bitten by something? Or an ingrown hair?

Does your kitty eat out of plastic dishes? Sometimes bacteria will buile up in micro cracks in th plastic and cause bumps or pimples. Switch to ceramic or glass and see if it helps.

ya he always eaten out of plastic dishes but it's never bothered him before...I will switch to something else then. Should I wait with the new bowls to see if it goes away before going to the vet??

Could it be rodent ulcer? or another of the eosinophilic granuloma complex sores? If that's what it is, it is usually treated with cortisone type stuff.

I have heard of pimples from plastic dishes because the bacteria builds up. I think I would take him to the vet though. I know I would take Max to the vet. But, frankly, I'm paranoid when it comes to Max.
