Halo is eating mostly Chicken Soup and other "pate" style as wet food. I once had a picky eater and I would mix some of the "pouch" style food with the pate one. It would give him different flavors without compromising much on quality. Just yesterday I saw my local pet store is now selling Wellness appetizer pouches for $0.99 each (3oz), on top of the most common brands.
We are adopting a retired adult soon (and I was told the breeder only feeds them dry), so I was wondering what your suggestions would be on the "pouches" type food, when it comes to quality vs cost. Halo went nuts when I added some texture to his regular wet......and the retired queen will be recovering from her last litter, and pretty sure will be underweight....
