I love the way Persians and Exotics differ so much!
I also know the cat being used on the Persian page - her pet name is Stella

Thanks for sharing that with us Amanda. Very interesting!

If she was show quality I would have passed out the first trime I showed her!!! =) haha she doesn't care as long as I don't put chap stick on it!!! It has been getting better over the years

She loves her nose like that because she bites me every time I try to help her...............

Yeah I saw the nose. I'm glad it's been getting better. That is so weird!

I know it's weird and I have to have Mrs personality to put ointment on her nose. She definatly shows what a sweet little thing she is when she gets bag balm on her nose.

Sphynx are known to get HCM.
They are fixing the spelling

The website is new, perhaps they will add more things. I have nothing to do with the site, just put in a photo for my breed when asked earlier in the year.

They must be going by just what "they" have seen come in.

PKD is very rare in bengals, not common. The spinal problems mentioned are also rare.

What is a problem is HCM, Luxating Patella and few eye issues.

I've heard "bengal nose" occurs in some lines, but it's not a prominent problem and isn't getting much attention, because it doesn't occur often and is of course not life threatening.

I suspect there are so many for Siamese because they are a popular breed with a lot of BYBs who care nothing about trying to eradicate genetic health issues.

Siamese from good breeders who research the health of their lines tend to be pretty robust, there are some known issues (HCM, a slight tendency towards getting non-life-threatening mast-cell tumours, and food intolerances for example) but I would hate anyone to get the impression from that list that Siamese are sickly cats!

Edit to add: I forgot to say Congrats on the beautiful Anastasia getting her photo on the site
