OMG I googled my name and found something awful!!

Ever google your name??

I just did so as I haven't done for a while and I came across an odd listing.
It referenced a pets name and other peoples names and similar pet names.

I clicked on it and its a bad site-a "filthy" site if you get my drift. YIKES!!
I immediately closed it-bad pictures OMG!! And my name is referenced to this along with others who my be unaware.

How can I get this removed from google??

I've found stuff like that attached to my name too.

According to Google's FAQ the webmaster of the site in question is to be contacted.
Like I'm going to load that site and scroll around to find out that info!

I've googled my name and found people with my exact name who are doctors and also live in other countries, i've also found posts I did over 5 years ago! Scary!

One way to handle this is to drown any negative references, for example by starting a blog under your real name, so that anyone looking you up sees so much positive, normal, reasonable content that they don't get to the bad stuff someone else put out there.
