Bronchoscopy

Has anyone had a Bronchoscopy done on one of their furbabies? We took Simon in for an ultrasound this morning to have his heart checked out and his heart is fine. They think the problem is in his lungs....Allergic Bronchitis, Asthma, etc. They're doing the Bronchoscopy tomorrow around lunchtime and although he explained the procedure to me, I'd like to hear your own experiences.

Hi Kim-

Not on my cat but my horse had to have one several years ago. I could tell it was uncomfortable for him, especially when they cleaned him out, but they did numb him up first so he could tolerate it. He was fine the next day- though he coughed a lot from the irritation.
