Hello, my name is Krista.
I stumbled across this site while looking for health advice.
Right now I have no cats of my own, but am fostering two kittens from my local animal shelter. We had fostered four before, and after a couple of weeks two were big enough to get fixed and get their vaccinations. The other two, the ones I named Stinky and Bolt, stayed with us for three more weeks while they got their weight up. Just last week we took them back to the local shelter so they could get adopted (much against my will, trust me). I was planning on going back and adopting the two anyways.
Sadly, Stinky (who was our baby from the beginning) got sick somehow in the Cattery and just recently died.
It has hit me very hard, and I am still crying over it. But, I have decided to adopt his brother Bolt. The shelter asked if I would take home one of the other cats we previously fostered to treat their ear mites.
So, hopefully I'll have Bolt in the future. He just needs to get his health back on track.
Anyway, that's my story of my cats. haha. Hello to everyone.
I would write a better intro, but it is 1:30 AM here.
