Good morning my dear friends…

Today I have the privilege to post here your daily question for the Lounge…
I want to mention that all questions here are just for the unique porpoise of fun and of course, to stay in touch with all members, and to know what do you think about it…
of course sometimes some questions are a kind of silly but funniest in the bottom!..
… so lets begin…

Do you remember this thread?..

http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=199153
Continuing with this item and Inspirate about it, I was wondering this to all of you....

What is the SHAPE that you prefer to choose a cell phone? do you have any preference or you like to experiment with all kind of shapes?

The shapes could be:
-Candy
-Wallet
-Twist-Go
-Slide

And a Bonus question too...
....DO YOUR PREFER?

-With Keyboard
OR
-Touch Screen

...So, start to post here!...
...

I like my slider phone...

and I would go with a keyboard. Touch screens are a PAIN.

The shape I prefer is actually small, compact, and flip... However, I also insist on having the "PDA" type, and the two don't coincide!

So now I have two cells- one for work and one for personal. One is small and compact, love the shape, but it doesn't do what all I need. So the other is about... the size of a deck of cards. And it isn't the shape I like, but it does what I need!

Hmm... On the small phone, I am just fine with the 10 key key-pad with the menu keys and such. But on my big phone, I pretty much insist on having BOTH a touch screen AND a key pad. I liked the way my old Treo worked, but now I have a touch screen with a slide out full QWERTY pad... Which I don't like as much as the Treo (touch screen with a small but full QWERTY pad just beneath the screen), but it's better than not having both options!

I have a Tracfone that I use only for emergencies. It's small, it's compact, it's cheap, and it's shaped like a lozenge.

Sounds like mine and the only improvement would be if it was a flip/clamshell type to keep the keys from getting pressed. My cell is simply a phone (and sometimes a clock).

My cellphone is a Samsung flip, now four years old. It does what I need: it's a phone. It doesn't even have a camera. It's compact, easy to use, reliable, and I hope it never dies.

I prefer flip tops, but theres not many that do them now, so i'll probably go for a slide in a couple of months when my contracts up for renewal.

I'm not fussed on the touch screen ones, so i prefer a keyboard

Well, my trusty old Motorola flip phone just died, so I just ordered a LG enV Touch...it has both a keyboard and a touch screen. It should show up tomorrow, so we'll see how I like it.

Just a plain old flip phone. I think the term they use is clam shell. Since I just talk and don't text it works for me.

It has a camera and is supposed to also take video but I've never tried that.

I have an LG Venus. It has the touch screen, and a regular keyboard. I love my touch screen, it's so much faster for me to get to my text messages. I also like my regular keypad. I hate the Qwerty keypads. I grew up on the regular number keypads, and can type so much faster on that than the Qwerty ones. I try to text on FH's phone (he has the enV 2) and I can't. I'm searching all over for the letters I need. I think my next phone will have to have the Qwerty keyboard since that's all the new phones have, so I guess I'll have to learn then.

I prefer the regular keypads too, and am much faster on them. I have a slide phone after years of flip phones.

I have a slide phone (an LG Chocolate) with some touch pad features and a regular numbered keypad. I think I would really like a larger one with a full keyboard and more features, but it isn't something I could afford right now. Perhaps in the future!
