Morning All!!

Well it would seem Chris(Snake_Lady) is missing in action this morning so I guess I will do the daily thread honors.

Rainy and cool here this morning which is a bit of a treat after all the humid weather the last few days.

Not a whole lot planned, I have some chores to do, litter boxes, change linen and tidy up the bathroom.
Am going to do my laundry as well and get it done up early for the week.

The kitties are sitting in the window watching the rain I think they are enjoying the cooler weather as well.

Everyone have a great day

There's no place like home
It's finally cooled off here after a week of scorching heat. The windows are open, the last load of laundry is in the dryer, the litter boxes are cleaned, and all I have left to do before I play for the rest of the day is vacuum.

Last night it was 90 degrees outside, and the pool was 92 degrees. I just hope it heats up enough today to jump in the pool. I don't like to swim when it's below 90 (whimp).

It is very nice here today, 71 degrees and very breezy, SO refreshing after the oppresive humidity! The air, it actually does move!! Got the windows open to let all the nice in, the cat is loving it after having them closed up the past week. She hasn't moved from her spot since I opened them up, though now she has her butt to the window (the breeze feels goooood on my fanny, lol)
Have to go out food shopping later as I have eaten everything in sight and am pretty much left with ramen noodles and a jar of peanut butter.
Have a great day all!!

Sorry guys, rough day for me.

This is one of those days that I just want to curl up and sleep all day.

With the system changes, also comes a great deal of pain
and I happen to be out of my normal pain meds (dr appt is tommorrow) and nothing else I have here works. Unfortunately nor do my normal ones, but they make it so at least I can function.

My motivation to do anything is gone (hardly slept last night), pain oriented nausea, concentration is out the window and just all around blah. If I stay reletively still, then it doesn't spike even more.

It's a muggy cruddy day out....suppose to rain for the next few days.

Have a good day folks.

Oh honey, I am so sorry for you and wish I could take away your pain.

It's 73 here today and I have all the windows opened and the cats are loving it! It's been a horrible 95+ and I've had the a/c on but it seemed to not be liking it one bit... So it might need to be checked out.
So imagine my thrill when I opened a window to save a bug( yeah I'm strange I know) and it was fantastic out!
Not much planned today, just relaxing mostly. Working mon-fri after that and I'll be burnt out and ready for the weekend!
I have to go to the dentist asap this week, had a filling fall out at work last night.
That sucked. Immediately after my head started to pound!!!! It's drilled so you can basically see the nerve so it's not a fun one to have fall out. Fortunately I have pain killers from a previous problem with my teeth, so I can bear it until they can get me in(hopefully Monday)
I think they'll take the tooth, which is what they should've done the first time...(hopefully not, I don't want to loose any teeth!)

Have a great day everyone!

Oh well, like I said

It's a beautiful day here, 70's and breezy!
I was supposed to work today, but I got the day off because we didn't have enough patients. So today I'm going to work out, clean the kitchen, and clean the litterboxes. Exciting, huh?

Hello,

Another location with some wind and temps in the mid 70's.

Decided to shampoo some of the carpets upstairs this morning as I'm hoping the wind helps dry them faster. Our bedroom was and still probably is really dirty. I think the worst of the stains came out.

One of our nephews came over this morning as Neil is making a bar top for his rec room.

Did a spot of weeding and dead headed the roses. Watered some of the veggies. Will put the sprinkler on early this evening.

So now just being a vegetable on the sofa and listening to the banging of the window blinds in our bedroom!

Bender is napping on the bow window and Bobber sleeping by my feet.

Under a pile of cats (and dogs)
Not a lot planned for me today. I was up early so I watched a few tv shows on the DVR, got the kitchen cleaned and cooked lunch/dinner. It's raining, about 70 with 90% humidity (YUCK) which is the same weather that we've been having for about a week and what we're supposed to have for another week. Ugh! So I really don't feel like doing anything because it's just so stuffy and sticky. I have my biology final to study for and I dont feel like doing that either. But that will be my big goal for the day, studying and folding laundry..maybe

I can sympathize with you on that one. I knew even before I got out of bed this morning that the air pressure had dropped and it was raining. Both my neck and shoulders were being quite vocal about it.

Days like this certainly do test your perseverance.

I took a couple of pain killers around lunchtime which did help, however there is that wonderful side effect of drowsiness.

Let's keep our fingers-crossed
for a better day tomorrow.

Went to a grad party today in Haverhill, MA at FH's uncle's house for his cousin. It was fun. They have an awesome hot tub that we went in a bunch of times. And FH's aunt is Albanian, so we had so YUMMY Albanian food. They made a couple of desserts that were amazing!

Now relaxing and probably going to bed early.
