I was cleaning up stuff and had wires strewn all over the floor. I didn't realize it but I also tossed the lazer pointer on the floor.

I noticed tinker playing with it, and was rather shocked to see she figured out, and understood, how to turn it on and off.

I'll never see the end of it now.

That is TOOOO cute!!!!

My laser pointer is a combo pointer and snake light flashlight thingy. I have no idea how she does it, but she will smack the snake part and it turns the flashlight on!!! No where near the button, and neither are my fingers. I have tried to duplicate this, I can't figure it out, but she does it all the time!

Your kitty seems pretty dang smart! Mine would've never figured that out. (pushing a button near me makes the light show up over there?) Yea that's beyond their capacity
. Now you know you'll never be allowed to take the laser away, right? I have the feeling that if you do, you'll get in trouble

Wow Tinker is sooo smart!!!
Jake understands that the light comes from the laser pointer and every time I touch the laser pointer he gets into chasing mode and starts looking for it before it's even on. But he would never figure out how to turn it on
Tinker is a genius

lol, that's awesome. I'm going to give Cam's our laser pointer now and see what she does. Does Tinker know the sound of you picking it up? Cammy comes running when she hears it move AT ALL!

That was funny, cute, and, dang, but Tinker is a smart girl. My boys know the thing in my hand makes the light, but they would never get to push the button.

I have to admit that I was dubious when I read your post, but holy cow, she really does know how to use it, doesn't she!

Here's the interesting part. It looks like she's turning it off at first right? It's not really that way. She DID turn it off, but the light was shining on the wall where she couldn't see it. So she thought it was off. She thought she was turning it on. when it didn't work she did it again and slightly moved it so she could now see the light.

it really surprised me how she figured it out.

That is tooo funny!!! She is such a smart girl. When I even touch the lazer pointer, the girls will come running. They can be fast asleep one moment and the minute they hear the keychain rattle, they are wide awake ready to play!
