Gladys & Shweetie are fosters for Siamese Cat Rescue Center. They are located in MA and are available for adoption. These are bonded girls and need to be adopted together. For more info and pictures, please visit their webpages at Siamese Cat Rescue Center

Gladys & Shweetie are both beautiful!

Gladys looks so much like my Milly she could be her twin or her older sister.

If they had been available last September I would have been interested in adopting them, I had been looking into adopting a snowshoe from Siamese Rescue when I was able to find my girls Milly & Izzy to adopt right in Vermont.
My girls are also a mother/daughter pair and it was so easy for them to settle in to a new home when they had a buddy with them.
You should definitely rehome them together as a bonded pair, they will adjust so much easier.
I volunteer at my local shelter so I will spread the word around about them if anyone comes in looking for Siamese cats to adopt.

Give them each a hug and kiss from me and my Siamese girls.

They will be adopted together as the daughter very much depends on her mom. Your girls are beautiful! Yes, please spread the word about these girls. They are almost 9 & 11 yrs old but look no older that 4 or 5, they are in great shape. The mom had senior bloodwork done and it came back normal. They will just need a very patient owner, especially for Shweetie (daughter) as she is hurting for her old family and wants nothing to do with people right now. The mom cat has accepted me and loves being petted and is a real lapcat. I'm hoping the daughter will learn from the mom that people are ok.

Thank you for admiring my Siamese girls.

I love that photo you posted of Gladys, she looks a lot younger than she is. She looks just like my Milly who is almost 4.
My daughter looked at her photo too and said she does look like Milly.
My daughter and I will volunteer at the shelter this week so we will spread the word. In the past year I think there have only been two Siamese cats there and they were adopted quickly.
There really aren't many Siamese cats in Vermont so it is hard to find them around here. I know from looking myself last fall, and I was looking into adopting from the Virginia Center of Siamese Rescue when I got lucky and found my cats in an ad in the local paper.
My cats are both lapcats, they love to snuggle especially when it is cold or rainy.
Good luck in finding a new home for Gladys and Shweetie(love that name!), I would love it if someone from my area adopted them.

Thank you for fostering for Siamese Rescue, it is a wonderful thing that you do.

I live in Arizona, but I would adopt them if I could and lived closer. They are so gorgeous.
Lots of for them to find great furever homes.

Fuzzmom, do you have any updates on Gladys & Shweetie?
Last week I printed out their pages from the Siamese Rescue website and had them posted in the office of the shelter I volunteer at.
Tomorrow I will volunteer again so I will ask if anyone has been interested in them.
Have you gotten any inquiries on them from Vermont?

I also checked out their videos that you posted at Siamese Rescue and I loved the ones of Gladys, she really is a lovebug and attention hog!

Shweetie does look like she is pretty shy, I hope she comes out of hiding more and more for you.

I'm very sorry for your loss. :hugs:

This thread is from 2009 and if you follow the link they are no longer listed for adoption. Perhaps you could contact this rescue and see if they know of any available cats in massachusetts? I found this rescue also:

We have locked this thread as it was started in 2009 and the information is redundant.
