Do celebrities' off-screen personalities influence your ability to see them and like them as actors on screen?
For instance, I saw the first Transformers and I liked it fine. But since then with Shia Lebouf and Megan Fox being the latest actors with the spotlight on them I am having a hard time seeing them as not being...well, kinda freaks.
Shia had said that his mother is the sexiest woman alive, and then a while later that he got his sense of humor watching his parents have sex, smoke pot and "other hippy stuff". OK, that's just strange. Seriously odd.
Megan is gorgeous, no doubt. But she needs to just be pretty and shut up because her personality leaves a lot to be desired. She's said some really nasty and stupid things (i.e. that she would love for Megatron to destroy middle America because apparently we're all stupid or something like that).
I try really hard to separate politics and movie stars because otherwise I'd probably never see any movies.
Maybe it's just because those two are in the news and gossip rags all the time right now, but they are just too...odd...for me to look past it at the moment, you know?
