I have a new kitten (pic posted in picture section of Cat Lounge, entitled "My new kitty" and in doing a little research I think she might be at least part snowshoe, I know her mother was Siamese, unsure of the father but what I can find is that snowshoes are a cross between a siamese and a domestic short hair and have white feet. Her facial markings are very unique. I would so much appreciate an expert opinion. I think she is gorgeous.

She's a very pretty and unique kitten, but she is NOT a Snowshoe or even part Snowshoe. There are a lot of kittens out there that are pointed and white and do resemble Snowshoes, but are simply domestic shorthairs that are pointed and white.

True Snowshoe cats are only in Seal or Blue Points. Here's ACFA's description of what a Snowshoe cat is. There are very few breeders because the markings are hard to control.

Such a cutie! But I wouldn't say that she is a snowshoe, to me she looks more like a siamese/ragdoll or something. But I'm definitely the last person you want to ask, don't rely on me. I know I'm probably wrong.

I did used to have a snowshoe (she wasn't a purebred I don't think) so I'll attach a picture of her. RIP Trixie

Sorry this is such a crappy picture

You can see her white little booties- I loved that cat to bits

Then she wasn't a Snowshoe, they are purebred cats with papers
Beautiful as your Trixie was, she's not a Snowshoe.

Hillbilly, your kitten is also lovely but agree with GK not a Snowshoe or mix of one.

FifÃ[emoji]169[/emoji] recognizes a lot more colors for snowshoes, here's a link to the FifÃ[emoji]169[/emoji] standard.
But I have to agree that neither of these cats are snowshoes.
Here's a link to some nice snowshoe pics: click. This photographer takes very good cat show pics.
