Last night, as usual, I went to sleep with Opie snuggled against my stomach. At 2:30, I got up, to go to the bathroom. Opie was still there and Buddy was at my feet. When I got back to bed, Opie had left and Buddy was in my spot, on my pillow and snuggled up with Bill.
That spot, next to Bill, is MINE! Buddy squeaked and gave me a look, as if to say, "You got up." I shifted him over to the outside of the bed and reclaimed my spot. This seemed to work for him, as he snuggled against me and proceeded to suck his paw. He stayed there until Bill got up.
I sleep with three pillows and everybody likes to snuggle with me. Buddy has learn that I have dibs on snuggling with Bill, though.
