So... I am moving in with my boyfriend in a few months. One of our main concerns is making sure none of our 4 (combined) kitties will be traumatized. I did this once before with a roommate who was lazy and didn't help me take the time to try to introduce them properly, and it wasn't too bad but there were still aggressions and instigated fights. Here are some of my ideas on how to make this a success, and I would love some of your suggestions too!!
1. Brush DBFs cats with the brush I use on my cats and vice versa. Switch the brushes back and forth. They all love the brushins so I figured if they can associate the strange cats' smells with something they love...
2. Switch comforters every other week or so. Our cats sleep on our beds.
That's about all I have right now!!! The move isn't until August 31, so I have lots of time, but I want all of our kitties to get along. 3 of them are adult neutered males and one is an adult spayed female.
