Check-Up

I am wanting to take my cat Chloe to the vet for a check-up, but I don't think I ever have taken my pets before, someone else always did it. What all does the vet do? There is nothing wrong with her, I just figured while I got the money and time, I would take her, just like I would take myself to the doctor. Just curious what all he would do?

They will first do the usual things, feel her tummy, her kidneys check her eyes, her nose, inside her mouth. Mine will then take blood, urine sample. weight, take her temp. They will be asking you questions, while this is all going on, does she/he eat, do they go to the litterbox alright, etc. If they are spay/neutered. My Vet does give them a good thorough check up.

When is the last time she was at the vet's? If it's been a year or more, she'll probably also get her annual shots.
