That poor cat Debo, it makes me so angry that someone could do that!

On a lighter note, that feline and canine blood drive idea is great. Makes me want to find out if there's anything like that here. I cried when they told me I wasn't allowed to donate blood (I'm on too high a dose of lots of medications) as it was such a special gift I couldn't give but I'd be so happy if my kitties could donate, as long as it didn't harm them in any way.

Interesting stories, but a bit depressing. Cruelty to animals, euthanasia, etc. Cytauxzoonosis is a good argument for indoor-only cats! I'd never heard of it. We don't have bobcats here, but some areas have European wildcats and lynxes.
