We just had cake!

About an hour ago, I received the following urgent email from my co-workers in regard to celebrating a fellow co-worker's birthday:

CAKE – IS IT COMING TODAY?

WE WANT CAKE!!!!

WE’RE HUNGRY


PLEASE RESPOND ASAP

THANK YOU
CIRCULATION

CATS ARE COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THEY LIKE CAKE TOO

(They threw in the part about the cats figuring it would get my attention)

Because of the urgency of the situation, I quickly forwarded the message to my boss who took immediate action. She went to the bakery up the street from our office and brought back a cake.

Hilarious! Our secretary's birthday was yesterday, and we went out to lunch to celebrate. I typically make a cake or cupcakes for my coworkers, but I was out Monday when they made the decision. One phone call and we would have had cake yesterday.

Looks like an email I would write!
