I adopted Cleo about 6 wks ago. Well, she has finally decided that she wants to be petted and loved on. Normally, she will allow petting and start purring when she sees me. Yesterday, for the first time, I was petting her and stroking her with my nose...(kinda like momma cat licking her), and I stopped before I knew she was ready for me to stop. She did everything she could think of to get me to continue. She bumped me, rolled over on her back for me, licked me, it was soooo cute. finally, I gave in and started petting her. She was in 7th heaven. It was great, because she wanted it. She looked disappointed that I got up to leave. I love her so much...she is so cute. I'm also going to socialize a new kitten who is about 11-12 wks old. still feral. she's from the TnR group that I get my barn cats and now my indoor kittens from.
