I came home today and Simba (10 weeks) was sleeping and when he woke up his left eye looked red around the rim and a little puffy. He was rubbing it with his paw. He also seemed to be 'swallowing' more than normal.
I immediately called the vet and made an appt for this evening. However, about an hour later I looked at him and I could find no trace of redness and he was acting fine, so I canceled the appt, as there was really nothing for the vet to see.
I will keep a close eye on this and if it happens again and persists make a new appt. My vets are very good about getting you in if you think your cat has an upper respiratory infection.
OOPS I meant to post this in health, not behavior, sorry! Can a Moderator please move it?
Thanks
