Well this morning they had heart for the first time. I warmed it up to see if I could get the girls interested. Symphony really wasn't having any of it. Galileo munched a little bit but didn't seem that eager. However Amadeus and Nefertiti adored it! (Especially Amadeus but he loves anything)! Problem is about ten minutes after she'd eaten it Nefertiti brought it all back up. In the butchers I asked for a heart he gave me one then I checked what animal it had come from, he said a pig so I said no I want a lambs one perhaps I ended up with a pig one anyway? Nefertiti seems fine now, charging about with every one. I've scrapped the heart for today and put down chicken wings. My Nefertiti is three months old. I think I'm just ranting a little lol this isn't really a question or anything but I am a little scared tho shes fine. Maybe she ate it too fast hmm I don't kno. Her teeth might not have been able to crush it up yet? Man isn't it hard work being a mum

Heart is a very rich meat, so I would guess that it wouldn't take much for it to be too much for a kitten. Just a guess, though. Could just be that it's too rich for her system at this point, or it just doesn't agree with her overall.

Organs are very rich .. One reason the most common % of organs meat total is 15% of total diet .. Hold off and try again at a later pt ... Lamb is a HOT meat and this could also cause an issue in some

It's possible it may have been just a bit too large for Nefertiti, too, and she, being so young and so new to raw, doesn't yet have the jaw strength or experience to chew it down enough.

I had to cut Rachel's beef chunks down to half the size the other cats received 'cause she threw them back up the first couple of times I offered it.

Now, I just throw down one big chunk for each cat and let 'em go to town.

Trial and error! That should be the motto for raw food feeders.

I think out of all four of them Amadeus seems to be doing the best on the diet right now, hes eaten everything I've given him! But he is the biggest out of my little tribe and is four months old. So I am guessing and hoping the others will catch up. Nefertiti loves those chiken wings she loves to crunch up the bones !!
