That's some vicious kitten!

People who deliver our mail, in any country, have to take any animal attack seriously, they deal with so many animals on their routes. This cat may be the most loveing kitty in the world, but cat bites (though this worker just got scratched) are not anything to be taken lightly and I can understand this postal worker sending that note.
Not to big a big meany here, but this lady needs to take some responsibility for her animal and not put another at risk because they think their "baby" is just too cute, Even a small cat can do a good deal of damage (I have the scars to prove that!)

I'm chuckling away here The reason being Rosie used to do the same sort of thing to the paper boy at our old house

Well, it was his own fault for sticking his whole hand through the letterbox when he didn't need to?! She never caught him hard though, but he realised just to slip the paper through the letterbox after a couple of visits instead of that and his whole hand!!

This is her catching the mail, but it gives you an idea what she was like

Not saying I didn't laugh at the story!
We had a postal carrier that got smart, he used to carry milk-bones with him and deliver those with the mail. My dog LOVED the postman! SNACKS!!!!
Not sure how he would have fared with my cat though...

See, if he posted a few cat treats with the paper she might have left him alone

I saw that article and had to wonder about the training of the mail carrier who would put enough of their hand thru the slot to get scratched

This letter carrier should be happy this wasn't at my house But then again, I don't have a mail slot in the door, I have a rural box on the side of the road.

I read this and first thought why stick his hand that far into the mail slot then I thought of Susan's Rosie. I remember her posting about this before.

I think she must miss the old house for that game Jan, because we have a porch in this house now

I remember on one occassion when he pushed the paper and his hand through slowly, and Rosie would go running to the door. His hand at one point seem to stay there for ages, and Rosie was taking her position when i said in a hushed voice "Noooooo Rosie!!!".

Too late!!
