Endlessly Licking!

One of my kittens, Squiggle, has a licking habit. He'll only lick people's fingers, and he seems to be very happy while doing it. But it's nearly impossible to get him to stop - he actually pulls my hand back to him if I try to move it away, and then he'll start nibbling/biting. He's gotten so bad that he'll sit and cry at a closed door until I let him in, and all he wants is to lick my fingers. He's well past nursing stage (nearly a year old), and he's always got plenty of water/food. So what's going on?

i've got one in my lap rite now licking my fingers. It's just his way of sying that he loves me. He'll groom my fingers, then himself before he falls asleep. (plus my fingers probably taste a little like my oatmeal cookie, so that helps too)

I'm sure your kitty is just telling you he loves you.
