Isn’t that odd? I may, or may not be fostering a Greyhound and they brought this dog over to test my pets so see if we are eligible. As soon as he walked into the house (my pets have never met this dog before) Bruno and Bonnie went and greeted him. As Bruno licked his nose and ears, Bonnie rubbed up against his legs and got on her hind legs to rub his face.

Capone and Bugsy jumped on the table and watched him for about 15 min then both of them walked up to him and started rubbing on his face and purred (he was lying down cuddling with Bruno at this time).

Amazing lol. I have never met a cat that wouldn’t freak out, or at least stay away in that situation. Makes me realize that when I get my second dog, or foster one it’ll be much easier then I thought BUT I will have to be even more careful with the dog I select if my cats are always going to be loving up on them.

I just thought id share since I was so shocked…. My babies are so good.

Awwww, you have such a loving group! What sweeties! That is good news for the dogs in need of fostering. It will help them so much with placement if they come from a dog/cat household.

That's great! Good kitties.

My neighbor's dog came oiver the other day (he's 110 pounds) and Molly walked straight up to him and sniffed his nose, then started trying to groom his ear. Polly meowed at him and walked around him, rubbing on his legs. I was so proud of both of them.

There's no place like home
When I brought my first Greyhound home, my manx cat (Max) walked up behind him and smacked his tail. Max always had tail envy. Greyhounds have really long tails.

Glad to hear that your first encounter worked out.
