last night was the first night that isadora slept out of her room. Well ONE of the kitties peed on the foot of the bed next to wear she was sleeping. Not sure if it was her or moe or neo. ALL the vets are booked until next week! So what do I do? Is there a way to tell which cat did it? I can get an appoinment for one but not all three if they squeeze me in this week. I'm thinking it was isadora. Maybe she just got confused and didn't know where the litter box was? Any ideas?? Or maybe neo was made that the new kitty was sleeping in bed?? I put her back in her room for today and I guess i'll let her sleep with us again tonight and see if it happens again.

are there any over the counter treatments for uti's. I would take the to the kitty ER, but they are all acting normal, and that would be ALOT of money for three cats and avery very long wait since it isn't an "emergancy"

Val-

First off, wash that bedding in an enzyme cleaner, or put fresh bedding on, or the cat will return in three days time an refresh the scent.

I do not mean this in a bad way, so I hope you do not take it as such, but this could be a sign for you to stop accruing so many cats. I know how much you want to save all you can, but this could be, if not health related a subtle sign from one of your crew that there are too many cats crowding her/his space.
It is stress related, if not health related.

There is no over the counter medication I know of... Do you have enough litter boxes? Duh I'm sure you do! I'm half asleep. Hmmm maybe if the others are locked out?

Good luck *YAWNS*

well the only kitties that are out and about is moe, neo and isadora, the rest of the kittens are still in the kitten room with snowwhite aka momma cat. So if moe or neo think one more cat is too many BOY are they info a suprise!

Yep we have TONS of litter boxes. We have three in the "cat room" and one in the computer rooms, and one in the bathroom, and then the kittens have three in there room. so we have alot and i scoop daily. I kinda think that isadora has a uti and that is why someone threw her out. She is a GOOD kitty and even let me clip her nails. I think i might try to get her into the vet by herself. She does sleep alot.

Moe and neo seem to really love her. They were cleaning her ears and all snuggling together. They seem like her alot more then the kittens.

Of course, the first step is to get a urine sample to the vet
of course.
Usually when they pee on the bed, they are trying to tell you they are unhappy and they would like you to do something about it. It's a sure way for you to notice somethings going on.
Even if it's just a ticked off kitty, whatever stress is causing it, can cause a UTI.
Hopefully you can figure it out soon!

Val, do you use Feliway? If it's a territorial marking/behavior thing, that might help.

We had this problem a few months back, and Feliway worked a miracle...

Val there is something your vet can inject in both of the cats so you can find out who the culprit is (or the sick one) It is called fluorescein and it makes their urine glow neon green and leaves a mark on the cat as well so you can tell who it is.

Val, until you get them to the Vet I would go to Walmart or a discount store & buy a cheap plastic mattress cover. Don't get the one that zips around the mattress, just the one that you would tuck in the corners. I used one of those when Tiki was having her peeing issues. It saved me from having to wash the linens everyday. I just would make my bed and then put that plastic cover on the top of the made bed. She didn't like the feel of the plastic, so she wouldn't get up there at all but the other two liked it because it a cooler feeling on their body. Plus, if they'd pee on it, it won't soak into the blankets. It might be an idea for you until you find out who's doing it.
