I have several co-workers who have dogs and are seeking the kind of info that can be found on catinfo.org and catnutrition.org, but for canines...

Anyone know of a site, or multiple sites, I can recommend for them?

Thanks!

Basically I use the same sites I use for cats ... Dogs need some veggie or grain in their diets ( 10-15% ) ... IMHO after doing the research dogs should eat WAY WAY more protein and fat than most commercial foods give

Opinions vary widely but www.dogforum.org will give you solid info ... www.stellaandchewys.com yes they are aiming to sell but it has solid info

Natural Balance is a really good food and not that expensive. Obviously it's all natural dog food and no by-products! http://www.consumersearch.com/dog-fo...remium-dry/buy

Chicken Soup for the pet lover's soul is good also.

Innova EVO is also good.

Canidae is also good.

Those are listed on the site sharky suggested.

Solid Gold is really good. http://www.solidgoldhealth.com/

Flint River Ranch is also good but quite pricey.
http://www.flintriver.com/

Tell them to please STAY away from Nutro. It has been killing dogs.

Ol'roy is the suckiest dog food out there as is Kibbles 'n bits, Purina is OK but not the best.. Pedigree is bad too. Ol'roy, Kibbles 'n bits, Pedigree is FULL of sugar and has NO nutrional value at ALL. The foods I mentioned above are really good.

Also Blue Buffalo is awesome!
http://www.bluebuff.com/

And Natures Variety is good as well.

http://www.naturesvariety.com/

Rachel Ray's 'Nutrish' I haven't tried it but I have heard good things about it.

http://www.rachaelray.com/pets/nutrish.php

I hope that helps!

Thanks for the inputs!

I'm really looking for specific canine nutritional needs, but maybe some of these links will help anyway.
