I found a website that calculates how much you should be feeding your pet. It seems a bit odd to me.

http://www.natureslogic.com/feeding/cat.htm

I used a 10lb cat with a sedentary lifestyle for an example and got 1/2 cup of dry or 1 can (5.5oz) wet. Are those the same amount of calories? Seems like a larger amount of wet food.

My cat is about 11-12lbs and I feed her 1/2 can of cat food, 1/8 cup of dry food and 1 C.E.T. treat a day. Am I under-feeding her? She is indoor and not very active.

No your likely feeding just right... all companies put on guidelines and for the most part they are higher than a typical indoor cat needs.. If u really are concerned ask your vet
