Very good point, I had forgotten about that! (been a few years since I had mine done, lol)
They don't just free hand it onto your skin, making it up as they go along.

Silly silly girl! I don't think anybody out there believed her. I wonder if her father knew she was lying, but wanted to spread the story to embarrass her as punishment?

It is a rule in respectable tattoo parlors and artists to not do work on people who are intoxicated for several reasons...... Alcohol can cause thinning of the blood and people often regret what they beg for when intoxicated!

I believe the tattoo artist. I've never had a tattoo, but it's a needle and needles hurt. And the face has a great number of nerves so I would think it would be especially painful.

She's such a liar and I can't believe that guy is going to foot 1/2 of the bill for her.

Actually, it is not just one needle, its several needles glued together. I have three stars on my neck, and while it stung a bit, it didn't really hurt the way I thought it would. My other tattoo, on my back, that hurt A LOT more. But either way, there was no way I was falling asleep during either! I saw that story and the first thing I said was, "She's a liar!". Especially if this is her first, there was no way she was falling asleep. The artist is NOT responsible for her actions, and I don't think he should have offered to pay for 1/2 of the removal. He stenciled it onto her skin first and she agreed that she liked it. He was doing what he does for a living, she is an adult and she said she wanted it.

I'm glad she finally recanted and I'm glad the artist withdrew his offer to cover half the cost of removal. What an idiot! I also forgot about the stenciling that happens before the tattoo is done.. and I have two myself!

Everyone already knew that.

Stupid lying brat! I hope the tattoo guy sues her for maligning his character.

So far as her tattoos are concerned, they're really ugly. Why on earth she wanted that pattern of stars all over her face is completely beyond me. She's right, she does look like a freak, and it's her fault.

The article states that it is a case of "Buyer beware." Which is why I think that most people should be made to wear lick a lick and stick tattoo where they want their permanent tattoos. That would avoid stuff like what this girl did. She would have realized that having 56 black tattoos on the side of her face was a really bad idea.
