I have 7 indoor cats (rescues) and one really wants to go outside. It's pretty much a constant struggle. With the warm weather, I've installed latches on my screen doors (since she would just open them up). Last night, she created a nice hole in the upstairs sliding door and used that to lift the door off of the latch. Out she went...... She is still not back, which is driving me crazy. But I need to come up with someway to keep her from opening the darn door!!! Any suggestions? I don't know if she could have opened it if she didn't installed the hole first.

thanks, Janice

I believe some stores carry screens specifically for cats that you can install on your doors. They prevent tearing from their claws. I heard about it here.
I hope she comes back soon.
