I figure I ought to write one of these up so..
A little about my cat and I..
My husband and I are dog people usually. Neither of us has ever had a cat, so we recently had a dog. We adopted him from a family, not humane society, and we had him for about a month+ and my husband got deployed to Iraq. I was having a rough time with the dog, he demolished our screen door, bit and scratched off the wood borders around doorways, and literally tore off wood planks from the backyard fence and escaped twice. The previous owner came to visit and check on us and asked if everything was okay and if we liked him. I said I did and we were okay... but it was a matte of whether or not I wanted to keep dealing with it. I called them the next day and inquired why he visited and he wanted the dog back but wasn't going to just ask for the dog, especially after we had already taken him in for a good amount of time.
ANYWAY. Enough about dogs - I felt so sad and lonely I started searching for kitten personals. I found Atticus and took him home. He was 6 weeks old and sooooo tiny.
He is about 2 months+ now and I keep falling more in love with him every day
He's a Tabby/Mainecoon & very handsome.
It's pretty much and adventure every day. I can't wait to see if he takes a liking to my husband or not when he comes home.
Either way!! I joined this forum so I could ask questions if I need to, because it seemed pretty friendly here. I've joined so many forums where people cant help but be rude to anyone and everyone who isn't in their "forum clique" Hopefully this will be different.
