New cat!

Yesterday, I went to the shelter and got a new cat!

He's 4 years old or so, came in as a stray.

Big mellow sweet cat . He was "megus" at the shelter, although the paperwork said "scrunch". Now he's Max. Probably.

Here he is! The extra feet belong to the kelpie, who thinks she belongs in all photos.

Max isn't quite fitting him. Working on finding a new name. Suggestions?

Congratulations! He looks like a total sweetheart. I'm no good at pet names, maybe you'll have to get to know him a little better.

He sure looks relaxed and comfortable in his new surroundings.

I like Oscar but then I liked Max too so I'm no help! Thanks for adopting an older kitty! I can't believe you just picked him up and Kelpie is perfectly fine with him! Oscar/Max looks like he could get along anyone, even with a wild mouse! LOL
And Fin....he's just gorgeous!

I don't know about the mouse thing, I have a pet mouse, he watches her when he sees her.

The Kelpie is Leah. I just refer to her as "the kelpie". I don't know why, I do it to her too. She knows she's "the kelpie" or "my kelpie". I've had her since 6 weeks (rescue), she's my baby .
