I talked to my Dad today and he said she had been getting a little better until they tried to take the tube out.
Her heart stopped for 40 minutes and that is what caused more brain damage.
They had trouble getting the tube back in.
He had a meeting with the Dr today and said he will tell me what they said later.
He also told me he does not want to be the one that makes the decision to take her off life support.

Jacky, I am so sorry. It seems that it is time to let her go, though, with all the brain damage. My thoughts are with you.

Jacky, I am so very sorry... I am sorry for your dad too.... Legally if they are married he will be the one making that difficult decision though... Oh God, I can't imagine what he and the family are going through right now... Be strong for your dad, and many hugs and vibes going your way...

Yeah, so I read.... I am so sorry Jacky

I can't imagine having to deal with something like this. Death and dealing with death are already so hard, and then the idea that a tragedy as sudden as what happened to your stepmom has then become this horrible long trial, to end potentially with death at the end, and then having to make the decision whether to let someone go...

I am so sorry that you and your dad are going through this.
