Ok. I know that I should have been more careful, but I didn't think she would leave like she did. I have a doggie door that goes onto the screened in porch where Smoke likes to stay. She can watch the horses, and just enjoy life. Well, Sunday morning, DH was coming out of the porch screen door with two cups of coffee, and he held the door open a little longer then he should have. Well, Smoke took off like a bat out of h**l. She ran across the deck, off the side, and I thought she ran under the house. I have called and called and checked under the house, and even asked my barn cats to spread out and look for her. Nothing so far. She does have a breakaway collar with a tag on it. She is about 8 mo. old, and when we found her she was in our barn. She has been an inside only cat now for about 3-4 months since we've had her. I really miss her, and stay outside looking for her and calling her name. Do you think she will come back. I'm sick with worry about her. She knows how to use the doggie doors, so I'm keeping them open for her. I'm going to put in a cat infa-red door and put the collars on the dogs. That way she will have to stay inside. I'm just so worried about her. What can I do to make her come back? any suggestions?
