I like to be a few minutes early or on time for everything, but, it don't always happen that way. You every heard the old saying, "The faster I go, the further behind I get "? Oh, so true!!

Everyone seems to be saying they are early or on time..

I'm ALWAYS early. Car troubles/delayed public transport wouldn't even cause me to be late because I always take either the earlier bus or the extra early bus.

I sometimes joke about being late but that's just being ready about 30 mins before I'm supposed to be. OK I think I have a problem with being too early.

I like to be early, too. You never what can happen, so just to be on the safe side. So many times, it has helped me. Like running into traffic. Or maybe I wouldnt have run into it if I would have left later

For doctor appointments and social events I am usually early or on time.

Work is another thing. Just about every clock in the building tells a different time. I say I'm on time. When the boss wants to pick she says I'm late.

Early for most things

My dr., well.... I show up either on time or 10mins late for good reason. No matter which appt. I have (usually the first or second) he is ALWAYS late...sometimes doesn't even show up for 1/2hr after the first appt, then he takes 15 getting his paperwork sorted.

Lateness is a HUGE pet peeve of mine (thanx to my dad for that one
). My dad's side is always late....never calls to say they are running late either.... I grew up pacing by the window, waiting for my dad to show up.... sometimes he'd be hours later that he said, and even worse, sometimes he would call hours later and say he wasn't coming.

Yup, I am now an impatient person...

I mean seriously, how hard is it to call if you are going to be later than what you said?

I'm usually a few minutes late.
Unless I know people are waiting for me...then I plan to show up early and end up being on time. If I'm going to be more than five minutes late for anything, though, I'll always call.

I definitely fall into the waaaaay early category. As my great-grandmother used to tell me "Better to be an hour early than a minute late."

Living in CA where being "fashionably late" is the norm, my friends will usually tell me "The party starts at 6, but please don't show up before 7." I've shown up at 5:45 on numerous occasions to the hosts just getting there from the grocery store. LOL!

But I finally made a friend a year ago who is like minded and I can always count on being on time! I love it! Though at the same time I made a friend who I can always count on being over an hour late.

I have that problem too. I hate the thought of being late, and consider it rude to be kept waiting so I always make sure to be early...often too early

When I was young, I used to be late for everything...sometimes 10 minutes, sometimes up to a half hour. I'm like Katiemae, my dad used to joke that I was born two months early, and that was the only time in my life I was early for anything. Now that I'm grown up and responsible, I work hard at being on time for things. It's an effort too! Fortunately, I've been successful, but I'm sure it would be easy to fall back into the bad habit of lateness if I let nature take it's course.
