Well we have kittens

I was not going to ost about this becasue Flower was going to get spayed next weekend but she had other plans.

Lets see where to start... so we took Flower to the vet becasue she had put on a lot of weight and I wanted to make sure she was ok. The vet told us that she was pregnant. Eric and I decided that we should abort the litter so that we do not add to the population of kittens. Flower's vet would not do it so after about a week of calling every vet office within 30min of us we finally found a vet that would do it, but they did not have an apontment open for a few weeks so we took the first one we could and thought we were ok. Well Friday morning Flower woke me up meowing and I just knew that it was the day. So I got the box that they use for play and turned it into her nest. She knew exactly what is was for sniffed it and let me know that it was perfect for her.

She had 5 beatuiful kittens, but sadly despite are best efforts one of them passed away. She is doing great I have her on Kitten food (dry to free feed) and raw. As soon as I find my camara cord I will post some pictures of them.

I am going to call the vet today and cancel her apt for next weekend and set up a next one.

We had a similar situation happen and it is very hard. You have such mixed feelings. Good luck and I can't wait to see pictures.

OMG! I love them, I have a soft spot for white cats and kittens! I can't wait to see pictures as they grow. Momma is very pretty as well.
